Bill Belichick is a cheater, and so is Tom Brady.  Wouldn't be surprised to find out Bob Kraft is a cheater either.  


How long have you been a Pats fan anyway?  Wouldn't surprise me to learn it was somewhere around 2002.  That's when Pats fans mysteriously started showing up.

I am Proud of the Patriots and what they have accomplished. And I will defend them until I turn blue in the face if I have to. However, in this instance I am done with it. Why?  The allegations are Baseless. There is nothing to substantiate those allegations. There is only science that backs up what Bill Belichick, the Greatest Head Coach in the game said yesterday.

 

He avered that the Patriots had nothing to do with this "issue". If you don't believe him because you let ES{N fill your head with erroneous information regarding the Patriots then so be it - There is nothing I can say to change your mind. So I won't. And You can wistfully walk around with the Dunce Cap on your head for the rest of your life unless you develop the skill of critical thinking.

 

Oh and Ron I would like some fries with my order please.

 

LOL, the allegations are not baseless...  They are factual.  Again, you cannot defend the indefensible....  You are now losing your cool and are attack people (including myself) personally...  That's the true sign of someone who knows he/she cannot defend his/her position.

 

Also, don't come at me personally.  You won't win...  I'll let that stupid comment slide, but don't go there again.  We can talk smack about our teams which is fine.  But I never attack someone  personally, and I expect you to behave the same way.  Thank you.

There's no doubt in my mind that every cold weather game the pats have played had under inflated balls..  To think they did this just for the clots game is ridiculous.

 

Also, someone mentioned how ESPN is attacking the patriots for this deflate gate.  I listen to ESPN radio in my office at work.  I would say 90% of the talk from ESPN radio is defending the patriots.  Not attacking them.  Just FYI

Mods/admin are like any other poster on this board. We get paid the same exact amount as you and all the other posters on here. This forum is far from venom filled and there is proof in that statement as other official team message boards have completely shut it down at times, or for good because of lack of moderation. If that is your true feeling then I am unsure as to why you come here in the first place. 

 

Take a gander at some other boards across the league, then come back here.

Deflategate is not about one game, in one season.


 

How many times did the Patriots win a close game?


 

How many seasons did they acquire an advantage by securing playoff games on their
 home field
 by one game? or one play when you think about it?


 

Were the Jaguars at a deflating disadvantage in Foxboro in the 2007 divisional playoff round?


 

How far back were the Patriots manipulating the pressure in their footballs? Five years? Ten years?


 

How many other rules have the Patriots manipulated to gain a competitive advantage? And for how long?


 

Belichick when first asked about the deflated footballs: “You’ll have to ask Tom Brady
about that.” He didn't stay with that answer very long.

 

 

A single bounce of a football can alter one play, one game, one season.

 

You're making a mistake assuming that only positives come from an under inflated ball.  There might be positives to it in some situations but there likely are negatives as well.  I've not conducted my own experiment on football psi nor do I intend to, but I have to imagine a fully pumped up ball would be more aerodynamic and better suited for long passes than an under inflated one.  So let's not get carried away on how this possibly helped the Pats steal games from teams they would have otherwise lost over the years.  We simply do not have enough information and the truth is we may never get it.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

Sorry, but the clots balls were inflated to the proper psi and maintained that psi.  They are the control group...

 

Illegal, on the other hand is a very good word choice...  The patriot way is to go right up to the line of what constitutes legality.  Face it, the control group was there.  The clots balls maintained the psi...  The pat balls didn't.  Clearly something was done to change the results in the "variable".  That something was done by the patriot organization.

 

It's actually very simple.  

 

1 set of balls maintained psi.  1 set deflated.  The balls were not defective...  Therefore, someone within the organization tampered with the balls.  

 

Case closed.

 

Yeah but in an experiment containing a control group, you're usually only testing one variable per group right?  If each team's game balls were inflated and stored on different sides of the stadium, took different paths through the stadium to get where they were going, were rubbed or prepared differently by each team's QB or whoever else handles them, etc...     Bottom line is there are a multitude of different things that happened to each group of game balls.  There was no true experiment being run here.  Calling the clot balls the "control group" is convenient for your position, but it's not a stance that someone who hopes to remain objective would take.
