Really hope the Seahawks win. The Patriots are killing my love for football. (With an assist by Peyton Manning and the Steelers). The Patriots have made the Super Bowl six times since 2002. I know some people find Brady exciting, but I don't. And I certainly don't think Dynasties are entertaining. Unless it's a Jags dynasty, I really don't care.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I agree on New England being a dynasty, but the biggest reason I am rooting for Seattle is Bill Belichick. Normally I would root against the team that beat mine, but I can't do it when the other team's coach is a rude liar and cheater. Just to clarify, Belichick and Tom Brady won their first Super Bowl after the 2001 season, then won back to back Super Bowls after the 2003 and 2004 seasons, and are going to play in their sixth Super Bowl next week. Overall, this will be New England's eighth Super Bowl. They lost it after the 1985 and 1996 seasons to NFC North teams (Bears and Packers).
While the Legion of Boom was busy criticizing a few Patriots, New England did the opposite, pouring complements on the famous secondary:

Counting the 2 losses to the Giants, the Patriots are 3-4 in Super Bowls. The 3 they won were all by 3 points. After this SB, they will be either 3-5 or 4-4 all-time in the SB. Which one will it be?
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:Counting the 2 losses to the Giants, the Patriots are 3-4 in Super Bowls. That is not a very good Super Bowl record. They lost by more points than they won. But I assume many Patriots fans will brag about the number of Super Bowls they played in and winning three in four years. Not only were the wins by three points, but the game-winning field goals ended those games. So did the field goal in the Tuck Rule Game. Hopefully 3-5, probably 4-4. I am worried about this one.
I really hope the Seahawks win. I don't particularly like either the Pats or the Hawks, but I dislike the Pats more than the Hawks. Adam Vinatieri should be the MVP of all three Super Bowls the Patriots won.
"It was Blake Bortles the whole time. They believe in this kid. He reminds me a bit of a young Ben Roethlisberger." ~Mike Mayock

Adam Vinatieri should be the MVP of all three Super Bowls the Patriots won. Totally agree. I wish the NFL would name kickers the MVP whenever they end a Super Bowl with the winning score. They just want Tom Brady to get it because he is a Canton-bound quarterback. I have no feelings either way about the Seahawks, but Derrick Coleman quickly became one of my favorite players last year because of his Duracell commercial. How many teams can say they won 3 or 4 Super Bowls? 3-5 or 4-4 SB record is still better than 2-5 or 0-4. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:How many teams can say they won 3 or 4 Super Bowls? 3-5 or 4-4 SB record is still better than 2-5 or 0-4. True, but other dynasties won every Super Bowl they played in. Would you rather be 5-0 or 3-4?
Quote:True, but other dynasties won every Super Bowl they played in. Would you rather be 5-0 or 3-4? Is that a serious question? That's probably the worst example you could have picked. Lets make up another scenario. Would you rather be 3-4 or 1-0? Quote:History will be made. Does Brady retite if he wins? No, he'd want 5 Super Bowls. He's that competitive, and that good. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:No, he'd want 5 Super Bowls. He's that competitive, and that good. He already played in five Super Bowls. What he wants to do is play at age 40.
I just realized if the Seahawks win, it will be a late birthday present for me. They play five days after I turn 38.

I think more recently he wants to keep playing at age 40, but don't remember the quote. As for starting to suck, no, he will play until he really sucks. Jimmy Garoppolo will be his replacement. He got some playing time as a rookie because Tom Brady was benched at Kansas City. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
The Patriots are in Arizona. The media is still giving them a hard time about Deflategate, so now they are trying to stop the questions and let them worry about the Seahawks.
First it was, "Who is the NFL's best cornerback?" Richard Sherman refused to answer.
Now it is, "Who has the better running back?" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...tte-blount
NFL VP of officiating Dean Blandino explained what will happen to the 54 footballs each team gets and how referee Bill Vinovich will announce a player reported eligible or ineligible when the Patriots get tricky.
