Was this really a option?

Do teams ever show draft boards? Maybe not the same year but years later?

Jameis Winston encourages you to let it go.

Disagree.  I think Bortles has a much higher ceiling than Bridgewater, and with the talent we're putting around him, that should become clear very quickly.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That decision may have saved you a whole lot of grief, among other things.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

If we are going down this road, then why not complain about trading up to take Blaine Gabbert and then watch the Texans select J.J. Watt with the very next pick?

Quote:No.
The Cowboys occasionally do by way of foolishly letting a reporter's camera into the war room.

I don't lose any sleep at all over this, the team though Blake was their guy and they took him when they felt trading back was a huge risk.... im okay with that, Im gonna be really patient with the Caldwell-Bradley regime until they prove to me that I shouldn't... just think about what they've done so far, I think they deserve a little bit of love even if they flop a few picks (Bortles wont be one of them)

Everybody is desperate for a winning team because we've sucked for so long and been mislead by so many regimes that did more harm than good... Caldwell and Bradley didn't do this to us, there trying to fix it - relax and be a fan,  stick with them through the good and bad, than the good years make it all that much more SWEEET!!

We saved Bortles from the pit otherwise known as the City of Cleveland.

Wow..... that dude should be giving Caldwell half of his salary for that alone.

Meh. Just check the advanced stats for Bridgewater, he was lights out during the last 5 games of the season and posted the best accuracy % under pressure and 2nd best accuracy % during that time.  I know, stats are stats to some people.  I usually agree, but his first year in the NFL was very similar to his first year at Louisville.  Almost identical.  Definitely doesn't haven't Bortles size, but I guess you could say his instincts are top notch for a QB.

But yeah, I get the Bortles upside thing, and he has more of the body and frame one would like at the QB position.  I'm still up in the air about him, but he's much better than Gabbert.

I believe we have.

Jags have me excited again. Original season ticket owner and the past few years it was hard to keep buying. GO JAGS!!
