The Seahawks showed us their true colors at the end of the game...

What a bunch of classless thugs. Brawling with the Patriots rather then accepting defeat graciously like real men and professional athletes... I don't care how heartbreaking it was to lose a SB like that! You're grown men and you're supposed to act like real professionals! You've got fans that are watching and young kids are looking up to you!

Bruce Irvin is fortunate that Gronk didn't get his hands around his neck and choke him out...seriously.

Congrats to Brady and the Pats. That was the best SB of all time. They deserved it a lot more than this Seattle trash. And I truly mean trash.

Agreed. Couldn't believe the fit they threw because they lost. Classless.

I don't recall them starting a fight with the Giants after they lost two SB's to them. There's no way that any sensible human being can try and defend their actions.

Bruce Irvin was trash, but I can't say that about the whole team.

Was that the first time a player was ejected at the Super Bowl?

Didn't Belicheat run off the field pouting without shaking Coughlin's hand? How do you not shake Coughlin's hand? Class

From what I've read, yes.

Holy generalization Batman!

It looks like Bruce Irvin was the one who instigated the fight and then both Seahawks and Patriots got into it because their teammates were fighting.

Exactly. Seattle instigated the fight and could have had somebody on their team killed by Gronk. The Pats were simply defending themselves.

I can only wonder why the word thug was used?

Eh, the Pats took exception to the Seahawks going hard on the kneel down and both teams were pushing and jawing at one another. Bruce Irvin was the one who elevated it from that. Both teams were then aiding their teammates who were in fights. You keep saying Seattle, but I feel like you should be saying Irvin.

Also I don't find fights to be a big deal, but maybe that's just me.

I don't either.  This one wasn't even bad, it was blown up given the situation it came in.

These are grown men, tensions are high, emotions are at their highest, it happens.

Fights in hockey are celebrated.  Fights in football are because of "thugs".

Did it ever occur to you that maybe just MAAAAYYYYBEEEE someone on the Patriots instigated it via trash talking. If my QB lost the game just the play before and say an o-lineman said "Bout done here so I can do your mom and your sister......at the same time". I'd go all Bruce Irvin up on that too. Just saying, you don't know what caused it all, therefore making assumptive opinions only succeed in appearing to lack intelligence.

We know the Seahawks by reputation. It's not hard to believe it was on them.

Brady is notorious for being a trash talker.  He's pretty much a thug.  Of course you won't see many people call him that.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Brady is competitive, trash talking comes with it.  Call him what you want but the dude has a drive to win like no other.  Sometimes his attitude looks poor because of it but the guy wants to win.

We could have used more guys with that attitude and drive throughout the years.
