The most important play in football is the one that gets you 6 points.

Quote:Shame too, I was looking forward to us drafting a pick ahead. Goodell hates us

There still might be a round with 31 picks.

Quote:It was neither. It was a one-yard forward pass. So there is no rule it absolutely must be to a specific receiver if he is double covered.

JW. I don't know how else to explain to you that this was a designed play to #83. There were no reads, there were no progressions. That's the play. And it was clearly the wrong play.

Quote:He did short passes because of the defense. He found match ups. Look at the pass to Gronk. He found the match up for a long TD pass.

I guess...  But Brady has been a check down master for years...  He's not a gun slinger.  He's just a dump down QB...  Every now and then the sun shines on a dogs butt...  That's Brady's deeper throws...  But mostly, he's a check downer...

I don't know...  He's no Montana...  He's no Elway.  He's clearly no Marino...

But he's Brady, he's a Patriot.  I'm gonna have to deal with everyone saying he's the "Greatest" along with the likes of Montana and Elway and Marino....  I just don't want to believe that's true...

I just can't believe it's true...  Every SB he won was not because of him.  He had Vinitarie kick the game winner in 2 of them...  I just don't know... I just can't believe he's a great QB...  He's just been lucky to be in the right place at the right time...

But that's OK, right?  Nothing wrong with that...  Luck is based on hard work and preparation...

I'm just really salty about the cheating...

Just look at the statistics.  The best QBs throw the highest amount of TDS.  Elite QBs throw 30+ TDS regularly.   You almost never see a QB (if at all) that throws 30+ TDs but has more interceptions.  Why? Because throwing TDs is hard.  And an average (or bad) QB could throw 100 interceptions and still not get to number 30.

Brady is the best horizontal QB of all time

OK, ya'll...  Gotta go to bed...  Dang...  Just so sad about this right now...

Congrats to the patriots...  Belicheck and Brady...  Greatest of all time, right?

Sick

Over and over and over I have seen usually the team with the most takeaways wins the game. That did not happen tonight, but the Patriots won because of an interception.

Every time I have seen the team with the most points win the game.

Every single time.

I win.

Show me an aerial shot of the field so I can see where all 22 players were. That would prove it.

The Patriots won because they scored more points than the Seahawks.

I thought about this for a few moments and I honestly don't have an answer.

It was a very good halftime show. They past two SB's have stepped up their game with good shows!
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

Surreal ending to the Super Bowl.   I'm still in shock that would looked like an extremely likely Seahawks victory turned into a defeat in which Pete Carroll and Darrell Bevell will have to answer for the passing play call until/ unless they win another Super Bowl.   At the end of the first half,  Carroll and Bevell looked like geniuses for the play call that resulted in a TD pass to Chris Matthews.  That play now seems like ancient history,  because in reality it is.

I thought Bill Belichick made a major mistake for not calling timeout when the Seahawks got the ball down to the 1 yard line with less than a minute left in regulation time.   If the Seahawks would have run the ball,  Belichick would probably be taking major heat for his decision not to call timeout.   To his credit,   the Patriots had the answer for the Seahawks passing play.

Tremendous game.   Though I was rooting for the Seahawks and still can't believe the interception,   this game was a classic.

The worst part of it is after going 49 for 49,  I had a similar thought when I saw the very beginning of the halftime show.
