hes been terrible but to his defense he was thrown into the wolves unexpectedly. i doubt he had any first team reps enough to develop chemistry, and he is a rookie.  tbh i didnt expect him to play in any games this year but with the situation in philly, i'd like to see them prepare him as the starting qb to really show how he does.

He also hasn't been the same since that shoulder injury. His velocity while never great is completely pedestrian right now. Not good enough for many NFL throws he needs to be able to execute. Hence so many of the INT's. 

 

That said.....they spent a 4th rounder on him, big whoop...

 

Thats the level of pick many of us who wanted him here were willing to spend on him. 

 

Our 4th rounder hasn't done a heckuva lot either.

Gabbert's way worse because you do have to factor in where he was drafted. Gabbert was traded up for and went top 10. More of a colossal bust than some 4th rounder.

I didn't say Barkley was a bigger bust, just a worse QB.  And he certainly is.  There are 7th rounders and UDFAs that are better than either of these 2, but can't deny he's worse than Blaine.
