Quote:Ok to keep myself from being cyber executed on this forum, let me say: I do like Teddy Bridgewater. Ok with that said, is anybody else down for the idea of drafting Clowney this year and maybe trading back up and getting Manziel and seeing if he pans out which i believe he will. If he doesn't, we will be picking high and can get a shot at Winston, Mariota (if he stays), or Hundley (if he stays). It seems like its worth talking about and that's all it is is talk. We make no decisions just wishes and dreams.

Bradley indicated in his press conference today that he and Dave Caldwell are going to meet up a few days prior to the draft to discuss the roster.

Quote:But that's not completely true. JW, in her earlier post, offered up a situation where injuries due to running, throwing, and their frequencies were examined. You responded by insulting her. None of what she said was non-factual. She wasn't trying to convince you, she was simply trying to dig into the process.

You got all bent out of shape and told her that when she expressed herself, it caused you pain. It must have caused so much pain that you lashed out at her and insulted her.

Miserable.
Awww. I guess in today's, "political correct or die" world, a little criticism isn't allowed. Seriously, if you actually believe I'm miserable because I said when she posts it hurts my head, you have another thing coming.

It kills me to know what's happening to society as a whole. America is becoming completely feminized. (Not that there is anything wrong with females), but it's like men have no masculine qualities anymore. You sound like the little whiny 6 year old from across the street. My lord.

And it kills me to know that people cannot be critical without being insulting.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Congrats on getting married and getting a house.  Wish you tons of success with that.  I got married when I was 21 and my wife was 19, and was in love as ever--it's taken tons of work, but well worth it.

That said, you're behaving like a Class A douche.  Wave around some ephemeral feminized society all you want as an excuse for being an [BLEEP]--it doesn't make you look any better when you insult others instead of discussing with them.

Only in 2013 will calling someone clueless lead to this. Lolololol. Sad.

Quote:I've had this argument with you in the other thread, It seems like you still can't wrap your head around simple concepts. Let me break it down for you, in a bolder, simpler, manner.

IT HAS BEEN PROVEN MOBILE QUARTERBACKS DO NOT LAST IN THE NFL AND ARE NOT GOOD FITS FOR A FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK.

That better?

Where has it been proven?

See Michael Vick.  Still in the NFL after how many years?

Where has it been proven? Really? Where has it not been proven?

Michael Vick is injured every other week. 2-3 playoff W/L record. Just because he's been in the League for awhile, that doesn't mean he's a franchise QB.

How many Mobile QBs have had their teams win the Superbowl? I'll wait. (Steve Young was NOT a Mobile QB)

Quote:I'm not even going to argue with you because you are as clueless as it gets. Oh my, lol.

Quote:THAT'S NOT THE POINT DIPPY.

Name 1 true franchise mobile QB that lasted 10+ years not named Steve Young. Go ahead. I'll wait.

Quote:Every time I see one of your posts it hurts my head. Seriously. What is so hard to understand?

Why would you want a mobile QB? Why? Mariota is not a scrambler. He is a running Quarterback. Mariota's lack of a football mind forces him to have to run the ball. He has less arm talent then Mettenberger. The only thing that impresses you dips is that he's fast. Hurts my head to no extent. Jesus.

Quote:I love my life. I live in one of the best cities in America with my soon to be engaged girlfriend. We're now thinking about buying a house together. And I'm only 20. How miserable.

Just because you have next to no football knowledge and can't understand simple concepts it doesn't mean I'm miserable. I just have common sense.

Quote:Awwww. Did I hurt your feelings? Man up. You might as well be a 6 year old.

Yep.  Just calling someone "clueless."  Let's not pretend like you don't take it even further in every thread, hmm?  You're like pirkster Jr.

Sometimes if you acted like a rationale human being, people would be more open to what you have to say.

The NFL is moving to a more mobile qb, sure there are going to be pocket passers, but many qb's are going to have a running aspect to their game.

Wilson, Kaep, Vick (he may not be franchise but he's better than a lot of teams qb's), RGIII....Bridgewater is more mobile than the avg nfl qb, Mariota, and more coming out this year.

Who says a mobile quarterback has to run a read option type offense?

That was half my point.

Mobile QBs, at the moment, are mostly 1 dimensional. Either they have a great running ability, and their mental aspect of the game/throwing ability is horrid (Kaepernick/Newton, not so much Newton). And then, you have the RG3, and Vick type of mobile QB who are extremely injury prone, but can make all the throws and get some yardage on the ground. We have not seen a mobile QB as of yet that most would be comfortable calling their franchise QB.

There are a few quarterbacks in the NFL that teams are well on their way to calling them their franchise qb.  You are thinking of types like RGIII and Vick that run a lot and get hurt easily.  I'm thinking of qb's that are able to throw and can use their legs as an added threat.  Kaep, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton.  They are able to spread the field more and take away guys in coverage because they are scared of the threat of running.
