So all of a sudden, well educated people in the world of psychology/special ed with advanced degrees are suddenly irrelevant when it comes to the discussion of autism? and yet everyone trying to defend JW has no experience in either the medical/psychology fields to begin with. At least, as far as I know.

 

I don't know if this is due to denial or just not wanting to accept the truth, but all of us have been played like a fiddle by JW this whole time. And some people just don't want to accept it. We truly live in a mad world don't we guys?

 

Bender's wife would have to spend two hours talking to me and my mom and run some tests at her office to have any credibility because AS can only be diagnosed by someone who has face to face meetings with the client.

Why is this such a big deal to some? JW is what she is, as we are what we are. How it bothers some people this much to where they would say some of these things is beyond me.

I believe JW is a troll. She claims not to be. I went to the person I know best who knows the most about this topic, and that person thinks that it's more likely than not that JW is trolling. I've got nothing else to add to this thread other than don't call my wife a failure unless you've got a PhD of your own to back it up.

Nobody is writing your wife off as a failure. People are just pointing out she can't say I don't have AS without personally knowing me in real life. I know as a fact if she did, she would say I am a classic case of Asperger's syndrome.

That is what Google is for. If people would go to websites to read about autistic spectrum disorders, they would stop denying my claims to be on the ASD.

You're not treated any differently than any other MB user IMO. I've received plenty of heat from other people on this board (and especially in this thread) for my posts too. You could have talked about this issue privately with a mod but you decided to make it a public, forum issue. You got what you deserved. This thread has been so entertaining and intense, that I only wish Jags games could be this lively lol.
