What happened with Alualu?

Quote:About him being hurt? I know he got hurt, people don't get knee surgeries for fun.

What I meant to say was that I think people blow the whole Oklahoma Knee Crisis WAY out of proportion.

Watch the video. He seemed fine to me. He was fine enough to play/train for 3 years after, which would be weird for this career altering injury that took place.

He had the surgery in his second offseason, and he regularly sat out practices before and after the surgery.

Quote:And Sam Bradford walked around the sidelines in preseason this year and thought he was fine too..... Tore his ACL.
Sam Bradford tore his ACL in week 7 the year prior. That has a HUGE impact on someone sustaining another knee injury.

Sam Bradford also sat the first preseason game as a precaution, and was hurt and TAKEN OUT of the next game.

I realize this. I'm saying that I don't think the end result would of been any different.

Tyson Alualu even described the surgery as minor.

Doesn't really seem like you do, or you're being intentionally misleading to suit your opinion.

I said I knew he had injuries. NFL players always do.

I said he also went on to start for 3 years after. It's rare to have a career altering injury, then proceed to start the next 3 years. It's also Rare for someone to go from a legitimate starter to a depth guy from a self described "minor" knee surgery.

At what point were you mislead?

Basically this entire post I would consider misleading. But it seems like this is your MO for this particular player, and it's not going to change so carry on.

Didn't he say previously that he wasn't hurt and that he wasn't fine?

The back tracking here is incredible.

I said that about the Oklahoma drill.

Lol watch the video. Did Tyson Alualu go from starter to depth guy because of that one Oklahoma drill? I doubt it.

Keep editing.

I just find it funny that people here are so offended by Alualu.  It's like he personally attacked many people here and they have to let it out on the message board.

Let it out!

Lol glad you finally decided to talk to me directly.

I find it funny people are so offended by the criticism of a player. I have never wished anything bad for Alualu.

Its what football fans do, get over it.

Count me in as well.

I have a feeling the resentment towards Alualu has something to do with the Jags passing over Tebow for Alualu on draft day. Its the only logical explanation.

Because I responded to another poster?  This is getting childish.

I find it that you are so offended that others disagree with you.  The anti Alualu posters here go absolutely nuts if BCC says anything remotely nice about Alualu (just so I'm not lumped into the BCC crowd, I am not apart of them).

You should take your own advice in many cases.

Ok, am I not allowed to edit my posts? I am doing this off of my cellphone.

I don't know where I sounded offended, I post Alualu posts in Alualu threads. I don't troll other threads about The topic.

Frankly, the Alualu topic Contains some pretty good debates, so I take place in them. Sorry, I thought that was what this place was for.

My mistake. I was in Iraq for the 2010 draft and don't remember much from the college season.

I wanted Dez Bryant. I definitely didn't want Tim Tebow.

With all do respect, i don't think it has anything to do with Tebow. Don't get me started on how much i hate THAT guy lol.

I'm just pretty salty that Alualu was picked so high and has  basically done "squat".

I know that its not his fault, but it still sucks man. We have been terrible at drafting since like forever.

Such a breath of fresh air with what we "think" Caldwell is doing. (I put think in quotes because its only been 2 drafts).

It's not just that Tyson Alualu is bad, or the players he was drafted ahead of, it's that people still try to defend Alualu with things like:

"He's not great but he's not bad, he's a decent player!"

"He was overdrafted but he's not a bust"

"He's good against the run!"

Regardless, it seems he voided the final year of his contract. Don't know if this is his agent or what but:
