This team pays these players millions of dollars for a couple of seasons worth of play. If "asking" them to try and get along with other teammates is asking too much of them, I think they can cope. They won't break, I promise.. If you need more solid reasoning for that, that sounds like a personal problem.

That's just plain dumb. Harvin has been all about one thing in his NFL career...him. They are trying to build a positive TEAM attitude in the locker room and Harvin is the antithesis of exactly that.


Thank God you're not running the team and thank God I don't have to worry about Harvin ever being on this roster.

That's not the point.  A team that went to the Super Bowl this year was so tired of dealing with the off the field stuff (and lack off on the field production) that they were willing to give up on what they gave to Minnesota, a 1st, 3rd, and 7th....They also handed Harvin $25.5 million guaranteed, including a $12 million signing bonus.

 

He's had three chances in the NFL and not one has stuck...but somehow its going to work with the Jaguars.

Didn't say it was going to work with the Jags.. I said I think it's worth the risk. We all know about his issues, youd have to be blind not to see him..


Nothing wrong with handing the guy 1-2 mill "if he bites" and let him prove himself. IF he complies and acts like a team player, we got a deal. If not, we wasted "just another guy's" salary and cut ties..
