JDR noncommittal on MJD with Raiders

It's realistically possible that MJD has played his last down in the NFL:

I think he might be done too. Love MJD and appreciate how he carried the team on his back on his own while he was here, but his running style, injuries, and age have caught up. Hope to see him in the Pride one day.

He'll catch on with another team.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

However, it would be far from a given that MJD would make an opening day 53 man roster. It would be good to see MJD sign a one day contract with the Jaguars once he realizes that it's time to move on from being a player. We show less advertisements to registered users. I hope he isn't done. He was a great player for the jags.
One of my favorite players of all time. [BLEEP] mjd haters
That chip on his shoulder must have been so heavy last season it slowed him down. Maybe he will take a hint from Elsa and let it to?

Hope he can hasnt played his last game yet but last season was a total wreck

So, recognizing MJD is pretty much done is now worthy of hater status? Because he's really proving those folks wrong on the field, right?
The Jags squeezed every bit of productivity they could out of Drew. The style of play he was known for pretty much assured that once he was in decline, he was done. That's not hate. Just the facts. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Wow as another poster noted, he isn't even 30 yet (March). Wow, cautionary tale of investing a RB. Draft them often.

And don't pay them for past services or hold on to them too long, no matter what the fans think. We've seen this way too many times and it never ends well for that team. Learn from the past or you will be likely to repeat it.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Because he's really proving those folks wrong on the field, right? We were playing the Ravens on a Monday night a few years ago. A game we won. I saw something that night that made me say to my wife. "We need to trade him now while we still can". It has been downhill every since that night. Its really funny how that happens. |
