2014 Was Warmest Year Ever Recorded

Unlike AGCC the evidence for the efficacy of vaccination is overwhelming.

Quote:I get it. Global warming isn't happening because one time in the eighties in Britain they told people to eat more carbs and less butter. Makes sense to me.

No, the point is that when scientists are wrong they don't suffer the consequences, and the suggestions for correcting the AGCC that they are currently wrong about are too serious for us to permit.

When scientists are wrong they admit it.   When politicians are wrong they never admit it.   And yet, you choose to believe the politicians over the scientists.

That is a statement of faith not fact.

It is the nature of science.   Science is a search for truth, no matter where the facts may lead.   Politics, on the other hand, is not a search for truth.  Politics is the art of persuasion.   Politicians are out to control you.   Politicians have an agenda.

Scientists will tell you things you may not find pleasant to hear.   Politicians will never do that.

But, go ahead and keep on believing your favorite politicians over the world's scientists, if it makes you feel better.

You've created a real nice false dichotomy there. It isn't politicians vs scientists, it's politically and financially motivated scientists and politicians vs everyone else.

And yet there's still people who believe vaccines aren't effective, and that it's improved living conditions that have lead to decreased diseases.  Not to mention the whole 20,000 deaths for the flu number is often claimed to be a strong overestimate by including people who died AFTER having the flu of other things.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Actually this is a very good point. If scientists are wrong they just modify their outlook on things. I had not thought about it from that point of view.

I will however counter with this, what's so bad about doing everything possible to ensure clean air/water and alternative sustainable energy regardless of weather man is the cause of global climate change?

What are the political and financial motivations of these scientists exactly?

Why do scientist from all parts of the world, of all colors and creeds, of all different religions and no-religion, of a myriad of political affiliations all agree with the scientific consensus?

The answer is that it is the scientific consensus and not a political consensus. Personal beliefs do not factor into negative feedback mechanisms.

Again, the science is simple. It is literally 4th grade Lvl science. I can explain it to you if you like.

And the "consensus" argument is fraudulent as well. But you know that too.

I didn't say that at all but you know that. Don't act dumb, you're not.

I said what's wrong with doing things to ensure clean air/water and building renewable energy sources? What is terribly wrong with these things?

Nothing wrong with it. But AGCC is so much more than that, it's faking a crisis for wealth, power, and control.

Which relies on the dumb masses to believe the hoax.  Which some unfortunately do.

That's the cornerstone of the ruse.  Once those being hoodwinked recognize the scam, it's over.  Therefore it must be perpetuated if it is to survive.

There are many "scientists" who also believe in Bigfoot, Loch Ness monsters, and aliens.  Without the ruse, they would not be funded to enjoy doing what they do.  Same here.

It was a brilliant retirement scam after losing the 2000 election.  Absolutely brilliant.  If we had no moral compass, we all would have done the same.  Raking in millions on the back of a dream.

So then why is the right so vehemently opposed to things that help to protect the air/water or promote renewable energy?

Turns out that plants really like a high carbon environment. Who knew besides us dum ol Deniers?

FTA: "According to researchers, climate models have failed to take into account that when carbon dioxide increases in the atmosphere, plants thrive, become larger, and are able to absorb more CO2."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/en...ought.html

So the models that have proven to be ridiculously wrong that the Alarmist still use to source their apocalyptic claims can't even figure out the correct rate of usage by the environment itself. And boy do those guys love the weasel words to try to minimize the impact of their mistake. We were wrong but we're still right about everything else, you can trust us! Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain, I am the Great and Powerful Wizard of AGCC!

Don't

Stop

Believin'!

Hold on to that feeling!
