2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

I think Golden State is the #1 team in the league in defensive efficiency.

Yes, and this is perhaps one of the dumbest stats to consider between the regular season and post season.  It takes into consideration PACE Factor.

When it comes to the playoffs, the pace slows down tremendously and the defensive intensity of teams like San Antonio and Memphis (banging) picks up dramatically

Golden State could easily get stuck with OKC, San Antonio, or the Clippers in round 1.   All very difficult matchups (when healthy).

Anyone have any thoughts on Melo sitting it down after the All Star game?

The guy sat out his own teams games so he could play in the All Star game knowing that he would shut it down after the game was over.  It's crazy to me.

Probably an organization decision too. Helps to secure their chances of getting the #1 overall pick.

I think it's more than likely that, but it creates a pretty bad image.  Hey, you're ok to play 30 minutes in the All Star game, but we're going to sit you down right after it!

The Knicks are terribly run, and its not looking any better with Phil there.

Hinkie doing Hinkie things and getting a first rounder this year (hopefully, top 18 protected) by taking JaVale McGee's contract off Denvers hands.

They did get the Lakers (top 5 protected pick). Could be a nice get if Lakers fall out the top 5.

Heat got a great deal for Goran (assuming he resigns) and I love seeing KG back in Minny. If Minny gets Okafor they could have a decent group with Rubio, Wiggins, Lavine, KG, Okafor, and Dieng.

Don't look now, magic with three in a row! Almost gave tonight's game away. They have to learn to close better.

I could have told everyone Greg Oden wasn't going to turn out.  He looked and played like he was an old man.
