Figured why not get more people who were once mocked in the first or early second from earlier this season.
Quote:Funchess in round four ?!!The fanspeak board can be flawed at times. I recently picked Todd Gurley in the 5th round. Quote:The fanspeak board can be flawed at times. I got a quality rotation RB that can do most anything on a football field with Ajayi, I added depth and competition at Right Tackle, even if I didn't get a starter. And at the very least I got three Special Teams starters with Tull, Jones, and Bell. Thoughts?
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

I just tried three drafts, using three different scouting sources, and all three picked Mariota first overall to TB.
I'll try again later after they've updated. That's just garbage.

Quote:I just tried three drafts, using three different scouting sources, and all three picked Mariota first overall to TB.I've seen times where both Winston and Mariota are still on the board at our pick. The tool is meant more for fun than to be taken seriously.
Went with draftek.
3: R1P3 WR AMARI COOPER ALABAMA 36: R2P4 ILB DENZEL PERRYMAN MIAMI (FL) 67: R3P3 TE DEVIN FUNCHESS MICHIGAN 100: R4P4 CB JOSH SHAW USC 131: R5P3 OLB GENEO GRISSOM OKLAHOMA 164: R6P4 ILB MAX VALLES VIRGINIA 195: R7P3 CB ERIC ROWE UTAH The good: We've been without a WR1 since Jimmy retired. WR1 would be sewn up for years with Cooper, barring injury. Too many are ignoring this opportunity, IMO. (Because we've been without so long?) The bad: Position changes for most in rounds 3 and later. I think Funchess would thrive as a TE in the NFL. Don't know if he'd realistically be there that late. Shaw and Rowe are very intriguing prospects as safeties. Grissom and Valles are more raw, but could make good OTTO and LEO projects, respectively.

Quote: Would rather have White if we are looking for a WR1...assuming its Williams//Winston 1//2 White looks like the more premier WR1 but you cant go wrong either way I just like the bigger more physical types on the outside. but both scenarios look good: White//Robinson as 1/2 with Lee working the slot or Robinson as the 1 with Cooper//Lee taking the Slot//Off scrimmage WR. Ok, we've all had a go at our "complete draft" now.
Let's change the rules ! What happens if we get Cobb, Thomas and a right tackle in Free Agency (let's assume we miss out on McCourtey, because he re-signs with the ball-deflaters) How does that change your choices ? Are you still picking a WR in the first round, when you have Cobb and maybe Blackmon on your books ? And is anyone taking Maxx when we have Julius ?
Personally, I'm perfectly fine with getting Blake more weapons to succeed even if we somehow managed to sign those three.
