Jaguars expected to make a strong run at N. Suh

I'm just hung up on McCourty. We've all been saying how weak the FS position is in FA and the draft and general thought is McCourty wouldn't be anywhere near FA. Now that he might be available, I am extremely hoping we target him. IMO, he is the 2nd best FS in the NFL and he is still very young. I REALLY WANT MCCOURTY.

McCourty is in the same place as JPP.

Until we know that these players will not be Franchise Tagged, then we have to hold our enthusiasm in check.

BTW, how does No. 14 on your list trump everything above it?

McCourty would be a good signing for us.

I have in my sig that the stuff is not in order. Well, it is, but not by desire or need. I have it ordered by position.

That's kind of pushing it.

Warren Sapp

John Randle

Vince Wilfork

Richard Seymour

Just to name a few. He definitely deserves to be in the conversation though.

Suh's big toe is a better player.

If McCourty isn't franchised, then he's the #1 target on my list.

I would take Suh over a combo of McCourty and Cobb.
Me too, I like Cobb but he's production will be based on how good Bortles is, and if Bortles is really good then Lee, Robinson and maybe Blackmon if he plays could be much better then Cobb which eliminates the need for him.

Suh on the other hand would make all our players on defense a lot better

It has to be considering how weak this years FS class is in the draft and how big of a gap it is between McCourty and the rest of the FA crop.

Yeah thats why I'm not the biggest on Cobb, I hope we fix our line and Def. I hope our WRs step up as well as Bortles.

Im more so okay with signing JThomas over Cobb because TE is a bigger need for us IMO.

But man I want McCourty. Suh Im leaning more on yes as well but he does still scare me.

yup we have a bunch of young WRs with talent, we need a TE

I think Dave goes after Suh, Julious Thomas and McCourty hard, then RT, after that based on what happens you go after the rest

It would be amazing to sign Suh, Thomas and McCourty. I still have my doubts we sign even two but I would love to see us walk away with several star players. Even if that did include Cobb but he is lower on my list for sure.

I can say with confidence Suh will be a HOF players. I can not say the same for Cobb or McCourty.

Sources tell NBC4's Dianna Marie Russini that the Bucs, Jaguars and Raiders will be "hot" after free agent DT Ndamukong Suh.

In theory, the Lions could still get a deal done with Suh before free agency opens March 10. But now that he hasn't been franchise tagged, the way for Suh to maximize his payday is to create a bidding war. There will certainly be one, as first-team All-Pro players rarely hit the market in their prime. We'd add the Colts and Jets as teams that should be interested in breaking the bank for Suh.

This guy is JJ Watt level. I want a player like that. He changes the game. Detoit did not have much besides him. He can make your team better than before.
