Brandon Marshall Anyone?

Marshall and Decker would be legit for Jets.

Jets are doing it wrong. No QB!

They are trying to put themselves in a win now mode and not actually rebuild. It will eventually backfire on them.

Don't underestimate the value of a 5th round pick.

We got Telvin Smith with one last year.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Quote:Of course, it would not be bad to trade for the other Brandon Marshall if Denver was willing to part with him.
Yet another quality JDR-era pick.

No, no, it's really not. Not for an aging, slow head case of a receiver. New York is giving away draft picks like candy on Halloween.

with the rumors of Johnson being released from Houston and a possible Jet target this could be a huge trade for the Jets, it's interesting that new GM and HC are making early news, unlike last year

Yep. And Kam Chancellor.

I always liked Marshall's play. I know he had problems in the past but I really think he did try to get his life back on track over the past 2 or 3 years after he got professional help for BPD. I wouldn't mind to see him in Seattle for a 5th round pick if he'd restructure his contract. We were already trying to trade for him before he was traded to Chicago. Don't know if we had any interest this time after failed Percy Harvin experiment, although I don't think Marshall is as much of a headcase as Harvin right now (he was in the past).

This move also sucks for us, because now Harvin will be released 100% I think (he'd probably be released anyway, but there is no way they can pay Marshall, Harvin and Decker) and we'll only get a 6th round pick instead of a 4th.

Ok what's more likely.... A star or a dud?

Marshall could have a year like Steve Smith.
