You weren't here when trav (formerly known as JJ) and I argued about whose fan base was more obnoxious.  Not that it is necessary to rehash that wonderful debate which I definitely did not won win  , but this is the reason it is coming up now.

I agree every fan base has is bandwagons who jump on and off, I don't understand what's different about FSU.

Absolutely nothing.  I just think people here notice it more because we are in a closer proximity to UF.  The closer you get to FSU you'd probably get the same thing.

 

Either way, its fun....I root for the FSU big 3, and usually will root for the team that has the best shot at a national title.  I like to keep it home grown.

I have a friend who is a Florida grad. He gets so mad when people say "us" and "we" about a school they didn't go to. Someone will say "us" when talking about FSU and he'll say "oh, what year did you graduate?".

 

Yea I'm the same way only about pro sports.  Any time I hear someone refer to an nfl team as us or we I immediately challenge them 'when did you graduate from the jags again?' , or 'when did you play for the colts?', etc.  Posers.
