If true Kelly has to be interested

Just imagine if this happened a year ago. We couldve traded for him and somehow the 49ers probably end up with Bortles with the picks from the Jags.

What a bizzare world it would have been. Hahaha just imagine Kaepernick in Jax, he'd be the biggest celeb in town.

Doubt it. Teams don't move up the draft by trading for players.

Me thinks Cleveland. Arizona & St Louis could use him, but not trading within division

I read a while back Blaine Gabbert is a free agent this year. He played during garbage time in a blowout loss to the Broncos last year.

The Jets certainly can use him.

Chicago, Houston, NY Jets, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Tampa or Tennessee could try and swing 2nd rounders and maybe take Cooper or White with their top picks or next years conditional picks....Maybe Dallas or Denver if they are thinking future ,Arizona and St. Louis are unlikely since they are in the division .. interesting options

But if the Jets trade for Colin Kaepernick, they can get out of it and draft Amari Cooper.

I know he was on the team during the season, I was able to laugh at my dad and wife as he played for them. But I was pretty sure he was a FA now

Obviously if they traded fur him they won't need to move up the draft

Not 15 spots up, but they could go a smaller distance, like maybe five spots up.

I don't think Kelly would do it. If he does not want Mariota, he does not need a quarterback. But the Bears might be interested in swapping Jay Cutler for Colin Kaepernick.

Blaine was on the last year of his rookie deal. Although he did throw the very first TD in the new Niners park....so he has that going for him.
