Asking a friend of mine who is a huge Miami fan his opinion on Odrick yesterday since I don't watch many Phins games. He said he would of rather them franchise Odrick over Clay. Seeing how they went after Suh he knew that wouldn't be able to resign him. Is very good at setting the edge/great in the running game.

He can play 3-tech and that's what he did a lot in Miami.  Depending on Marks' status, he could be seeing a lot there or at the very least rotating.  But yes, likely he'll play some 5-tech too.

Well, the rumor of Seattle going after Thomas could still prove proof of that. Would explain why there's been no official "agrees to terms" on that front too (which is what I've been cautioning many here who is already claiming Julius as "done"). Needless to say, this would make me a sad puppy if that proved to be the case (Seattle pushing for Thomas)

They would have to punish at least a dozen teams.  Seems like a sternly written memo with a note not to do it ever again is about all they can do unless they plan on punishing, likely, the majority of the league.

Yes I did. And yet there's been tons of "agree to terms" reports out there.

 

Keep in mind also that unless there's something in written form between the team and the agent, there's nothing the league can do. Its all "rumors" unless they have that proof.

I like that the "agree to terms" reports for the Jags are getting out there.  It lets the other free agents we are interested in get the word that we are for real and we are getting better.

I've talked to several Miami Dolphins fans in my office and I can assure you they don't look at him like Alualu.

 

Alualu is seen as a depth signing.  That's what Odrick is...  their numbers are nearly identical.
