I mean, Badger is obviously infallible. How dare anyone suggest we WATCH a guy play before we call it a bad signing. I mean, Miami DID have a better run defense than the Jags. I mean, maybe he IS a good player.

I just find it funny that so many dudes around here take such issue that I'm saying he's a solid player for the rotation.  like that's insulting... ha

 

If he's more than solid depth, what is he?  "Good"?  Ok, how good?  Well, not good enough to make a pro bowl or win any kind of accolades.  Alright, is that worth between 7-9 million per year?  Not so sure.  Maybe it is these days.  I'm just a fan, so obviously forming my own opinion on the matter is outlawed.

 

Sorry if im not super thrilled we signed a run-stuffing lineman when we already have like 3 "good" guys like that on the roster.

Maybe at the 5-tech position but I think Odrick is quite a bit better as a 3-tech.

I think I would say the exact opposite.  as far as run-stuffing goes on the inside, they're equal.  Odrick as a 5t has more speed, length and versatility to move farther outside than Alualu.  But he hasn't been overly productive in that spot.
