Quote:What exactly happened to Shorts?  Do you all think the concussion(s) ultimately lead to his drop off or is it a combination of all of his injuries (and apparent lack of concentration)?
Soft tissue injuries slow you down.

As it has been all along - WR is the least of my concerns in FA and the draft.  We have some good young talent.  They will mine some mid-tier signing for vet presence and a maybe a mid -round pick IMO to bolster what's already in place.

I think Allen Robinson has some big games early in the  2015 season if he stays healthy  - and then others benefit from him drawing coverage.

Shorts will be a good bargain pick up for team. Dude can play, he just gets injured all the time. Not a reliable 1st or 2nd option

I think Copeland if developed properly can carve out a role for himself in the offense. But i wouldn't be against adding another target later in the draft or a cheap FA to compete

Rip the name off and call it a Marquise Lee throwback.

Texans just released Andre Johnson.  Think he might be a little motivated to face them a couple of times a year?

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Just read Sam Cooper at Yahoo sports, and listed Andre Johnson's potential landing spots of 5-6 teams, we didn't even make the list. I sometimes feel the nation forgets we exist.

Interestingly, the Jags aren't listed as potential landing spots for Johnson. He would provide veteran leadership to our young receivers for perhaps 2-3 years. At his age, though, he's probably looking for a team that can seriously challenge for a Super Bowl title in the next two years. In my opinion, we're at least two years.......maybe three from that happening.

Im not sure Johnson would want to come here and face his former team.

I'd only want shorts back on some super cheap crazy deal
