Jared Allen had 43 sacks in 4 years including 15.5 sacks the previous year when he was traded. He was the premier player at a premium position. Blackmon was (and is) a second year player with barely a 1,000 yards to his name playing a position where you can get other players at the drop of a hat. The two situations aren't even remotely the same.

 

Blackmon is 22 and perceived to be a WR of quality.

 

I didn't say the Jaguars could get what the chiefs got, but to imply a guy can't be traded because he's in the substance abuse program isn't correct.

Perceived. Jared Allen was 24 and PROVEN to be the real deal. Again; not the same.
