Orange Julius is one hand, a mall pretzel in the other, walking into the record store and buying Motley Crue's new LP, Shout at the Devil... Been there and wanna go back..

Keep in mind this guy doesn't play much out of his element. He plays big in the red zone and on third down. He can take plays off on typical downs.

Thomas is basically a big [BLEEP] WR. I could see him in on every play and using Lewis as a traditional TE

Wow ... you hit the nail on the head with that scenario.  For me it was the Strawberry Julius, a pretzel, and hanging out the record store for 45 minutes checking out the Album covers (Led Zep, Boston, Van Halen, etc).

Great signing. We've never had this high of a caliber TE before. He may not be able to block like Lewis, HOWEVER, this dude will be the much needed safety blanket for BB. We finally have a TE that can catch, and out match the defender. Caldwell continues to get my blessing. Our offense just got better, even without us upgrading our oline, yet.

It was always this place at the Regency Mall when I was a kid.  They had the "orange frost."

6 ounces of frozen orange juice

1 cup of water

1 cup of milk

1/2 cup of sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup of ice

Blend.. Looks easy enough..

Great signing.

Look for 2 TE sets now with Lewis and Thomas.

Does this motivate Lewis to play better? It'll be interesting to see.

If the chance to get more money didn't motivate that giraffe, nothing will..

Quote:Pete Mitchell was the last good receiving TE we had.

How people forget about Kyle Brady I'll never know. He made some really really good plays for us as far as catching the ball.

Kyle Brady was a true TE, in that he was mainly a blocker and could cause mismatches for pass plays.

I would take a Kyle Brady over M. Lewis any day of the week.

Look for us to get an upgrade at the RB position for this to be effective

Kyle Brady was a lousy pass receiving TE.  He was a great blocker though  Rolleyes

In his 8 year Jaguar career he averaged 30 rec   312 yds    1.6 td .  And this includes one pretty decent year where he caught 64 for 729 yards.  If you remove that outlier of a season he averaged 25 recs   253 yards  and 1.4 tds a season over the other 7 years.  How do people not remember what a lead footed oaf that guy was?
