Schefter has reported multiple things about this trade as recently as in the past hour, and he has yet to report the same thing twice.

Those were the initial details that were leaked out, and I pointed out that they could be wrong by saying "if the details are accurate". 

 

Still, the Eagles now have a veteran QB with suspect durability issues, and if he isn't able to win the starting job, they're able to get the 2nd round pick back.  At least that's how it's being reported at this time.  An hour from now Schefter may come back with something completely different.

See, that's what I'm saying.  Now it's a conditional third if he doesn't play at all, and a 4th if he plays less than 50%?  That detail keeps changing.

 

The trade makes absolutely no sense if there's not adequate draft compensation to make it worthwhile.  What's even more screwy from the Eagles perspective is they let McCoy go and now they're pursuing Murray.  Chip Kelly is trying to do his darndest to show the world that Gene Smith wasn't such a lousy GM after all.  He's either going to look like an absolute genius, or an arrogant buffoon.  My money is on the latter.

Yeah this trade is so weird, how do you trade a 1 year removed pro bowler like Foles (who still played good this year), for a guy who has to be older and more injury prone and still lose picks... It makes no sense.
