You talked a big game about me not paying attention to last season, and it turns out YOU were the one not paying attention to one of the biggest play that happened to the Jaguars last season. LoL.

 

I have nothing against Colvin. If he beats out McCray, good for him. I'm all up for improved play by our secondary. But he fits that nickel corner to a T, much more so than McCray.

 

Btw, the Seahawks LoB started with Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman....two big, long, and physical cornerbacks. Signing House does not equate replacing McCray in the starting line-up, but more a replication of what Gus had in Seattle. Colvin then plays the Thurmond role.

I'm worried that since we already paid him so much, that he won't play as good as he used too. He already has his payday. Lets just home he hasn't taken advantage of this.

In case anyone missed Dempsey's interview yesterday...

 

Plans are to make House their #1 corner, their press cover guy.

 

They will continue with Colvin on the slot man because of is quickness and talent.  Though, if he continues to develop as he has, he could work his way to the other side of House.

 

Certainly a good problem to have.  But there should be no misunderstanding that they expect House to be our top corner.
