Uncle Vito I am sure. He sounds like Paterno.

He's still not as bad as Martineau. Guy seems to me like he believes he's the smartest guy in the room when he just says the most obvious things all the time.

Caldwell said he go 3/5. Means he liked Parnell over the other RT candidates. Also means we missed out on getting Cobb and McCourty. Sounds like if they would have made it to the market, we would have grabbed them up.

What a haul that would have been.

He said money for McCourty went to Skuta/House/Brown

I love Martineau.  He's even-keeled and does is best to be objective/diplomatic.  The sports version of Jamie Dupree.

Perspective.  Nice "settle for", IMO.

Are Skuta/House/Brown better than the Geno Hayes' of the world?

With their contracts, it looks like they're planning on them being.

Man, I hope Murray is listening to this. I feel like if he could just come to town, see what we're doing, and talk to Gus, like these guys have, it'd be a lot more than just 'more money' to him.

The guy has no personality. He's so bland and boring and being objective for him as I said is just stating the obvious. He's just very manufactured to me and comes off like he thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. Mike Dempsey is the best by far out of all the Jag media folks.

I could not hear the question to which Dave Caldwell responded "He'll have to compete to be here". Was he talking about Marcedes Lewis?

Odrick had what seemed to be a great line when he asked "You been watching ESPN?  C'mon..."

Did anyone hear the question he was asked that prompted that response?

Personally I'd rather have those 3 than throw all that money at a 28 year old safety.

"Roll the dice" - type signings.  Cap number let them potentially overpay a lil on Skuta/House.   Brown was cheap.

Something to the extent if he knew he was out of a job when the Suh rumors appeared

Listening to "Jaguars Today" they interviewed most of the Free Agents.  The host said that during the commercial breaks each player talked up Skuta without even being asked about him.  I don't know a ton about Skuta but it's a good sign when other players are impressed with him.

Yes.

Anyone else find the emphasis on humility interesting?
