I did get a kick out of his response when asked about being a nasty player on the field.  He basically responded, "That's just the way I am."

Yes.  Heard it last year a bunch too.  It's obvious that DC and Gus covet intelligent guys that also have the capacity to be team players.  Not that they won't step out of that box  occasionally - but they've added  lots of guys that are remarkably clear-headed and seem to immediately grasp and buy-in to the philosophy Gus is preaching.  Humility is definitely part of his sermon.
