The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party

#1

It is that time of year again - the Florida Gators travel north, the Georgia Bulldogs travel south, and a hard-fought battle ensues at EverBank Field. In recent years, when the Gators were good, they owned the Bulldogs. But now Florida comes into the game unranked and with a replacement quarterback who had never attempted a pass at the time Jeff Driskel suffered a season-ending injury. I am afraid this will be a bad game for the orange and blue team.

I know some of you are talking about Georgia starting quarterback despite the obvious fact that he is nowhere near good enough to be a top five pick in the 2014 draft. If you are one of those people, this is not a bad game to watch him. I wilul just watch the game to root for the Gators and hope for an upset.

JW, are you heading down to the landing after the game to partake in some cocktails?

Of course not. That is just the nickname for the Florida/Georgia game.

It was definitely not my idea to call this game a cocktail party. I don't know why they call it that. But according to Wikipedia, that is the name of the game being played today.

Anyway, do you think Florida can win this one?

I thought a lot of people would be interested in this game before kickoff.

Both of these teams have been underperforming all season.

You do know alligators have a lot more teeth than bulldogs, right? If a real gator and a real bulldog met, the poor doggie would have no chance.

If only it could be that easy on the football field.

I'm pretty sure that alligators have more scales than bulldogs too. Jeez, the Gators are just hundreds of times better than those stupid bulldog people.

Oh yes they do, but that is irrelevant.

Of course bulldogs run faster, so they can get away from those pesky alligators.
