I'm not even sure this was worth me posting, either.

LMAO!I'd take it and make the saints suckers. Brees throwing to Thomas, Blackmon, Lee, Burns, Robinson? Even if for 3 years for yes please. Oh fix the line too so he doesn't get murdered.

Hurns. Sorry it's 5 am in Baptist and I'm ready to go.

If there was a different article on yahoo, I couldn't find it. But the article you linked does not say that the Jags offered BB5 for Breesus.

The linked article is simply the authors conjecture of the most likely trade scenarios involving Brees; it's not even based on rumors, it's simply what that guy - Matthew Schwerha - thinks.

And it says, "It comes down to if a team is looking to win now or has a few years to develop into a winning franchise. Adding Brees to any roster immediately makes them a playoff contender. The Jaguars could give up Blake Bortles for Brees."

A trade scenario for Brees is theoretically possible but not in the neighborhood of probable and definitely won't involve Bortles.

“It just shows what kind of team we are. We’re a tough team. We like contact. We’re very physical. We want the issue to be brought to us so we can show people we can stand up to it and overcome it. Seeing that’s just a symbol of our team and who we are.” - Jaguars DT Malik Jackson

I would seriously give up the 2nd round pick or possibly the first. Brees would be an AWESOME study for Bortles.

If you think I offended you, don't worry, I meant to. #facts
