Allen Hurns is our most complete receiver

Isn't it great we can argue how good our WRs are?

Quote:Go look at the stats again my friend.

Hurns played in all 16 while Robinson played in 10.

Hurns only had 3 more catches than Robinson despite playing in 6 more games. He also only had about 100+ more receiving yards. If Robinson had played all 16, he would have blown Hurns numbers out the water.

Agreed!  A great spot to be in compared to the past, but I expect another WR will be picked up in this draft.

And?

Robinson is still better than Hurns. His per game averages are better than Hurns. He was playing the #1 receiver role.

Bortles LOVED Robinson on third downs. (Who has a stat for 3rd down conversions for our WRs?)

Bortles LOVED Hurns on broken/improvise plays.

Does anyone see a little Brett Favre in Bortles?

I thought Robinson made the tough catches to move the chains and Hurns is the guy thats going to prevent defenses from playing 8 in the box. Either way their both on our team so im happy

Hurns had a nice and complete season, but Robinson has a much higher celing.

We'll see what happens..

Quote:The guy is easily the most complete receiver who isn't Blackmon yet he gets overlooked it seems. It's always about Lee and Robinson but it was Hurns who scored the most TD's for us. He significantly improved every game by creating separation and using his hands more as the season went on instead of body catching. The TD's against the Bengals were flawless the way he made the adjustments to the ball.

I would also direct attention to the goal line TD play against the Texans. The play breaks down, Bortles is scrambling, Johnathan Joesph is all over Hurns and he manages to break away and catch the ball in the corner of the endzone with the ball just inches above the ground.

He's not as fast as Lee, he doesn't have the hands of AR15 but he is exceptional at route running which is such an important trait for a WR.

Thank you.

*has a seat*

He has promise.  But he disappeared during a lot of games too.  I'd say as of now he's our boom or bust guy.  Robinson was the best WR on the team last year till he got hurt, and I think that'll continue this season.

Everyone talking about Hurns and Robinson, watch Lee break out this year and be our best WR lol

Lee is the fastest and most athletic.  He just needs to work on his hands and the mental aspect... which are the easiest to improve.

I wish we could somehow bring in Greg Jennings. We need a veteran in there.

I like Hurns, but Robinson is easily our best receiver. And the most complete.

you can easily improve those 2 with a gym and proper training

kwame brown is a 7 foot specimen that should have dominated the NBA, but it doesn't matter because he's an idiot. he could be 8 foot and it still wouldn't matter

You have to be kidding me. How do you make someone 'more athletic'?

Better than the "Jason Hill or Mike Thomas" as our best receiver discussion.
