So the only regular physician that I've ever had since I move here in 1991, retired. Last week a prescription ran out of refills and the guy would have just called in the refill to last until my annual physical. But the doctor they moved me to insisted I come in for an appointment. I basically went in there. They took my weight and blood pressure. Asked me if anything was bothering me. Then filled the damn prescription. So I had to take two hours out of my work day, have to stay late to make up the time, pretty much for nothing.


Other than to line their pockets.


What a racket.

 Maybe the new Dr. just couldn't wait to meet you. He'd heard a lot about you from your old Dr.and maybe from some others who know you, and wanted to meet you ASAP.

OK, I was planning on coming down there to Jax in May, but that's on hold. Certain things have been happening with my health and my GP is sending me to a specialist. She suspects bladder cancer so I got to go through a lot of test and screenings. So right now I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
