Draft Sleepers?

Quote:I love Tull as well, but waiting until the fifth round means watching him go to someone else. I think the Jags would have to spend their third-round pick on him to get him, and imo he'd be worth it. He could be a situational player as a rookie, maybe even work as an edge rusher on occasion, and take over for Skuta in a year or two. He's pretty awesome but the 3rd round might be a stretch. The 4th would be a better value. I want the Jags to try to draft 3 starters in this class which is very doable given how deep it is and use the later rounds for depth and development.

The issue with waiting for the Fourth Round is that you are farther away than normal from your previous round pick, Round Three in this case. This is due to the Compensatory picks beginning at the end of the Third Round. Now, this year's isn't quite so bad since there were only three selections awarded for the Third (New England, Kansas City, and Cincinnati in that order), but it still pushes you back that much more. And add to the fact that New England is sitting there with back to back selections at the end of the Third and Tull just kind of screams "Bill Belichick type of player", I think you are going to have to either spend your Third on him, or trade up into the back half of the Third if he's still around.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Baylor’s Bryce Petty might be a good third round pick up for a team should he fall that far.
