the 11th doc had no choice but to go jameis there. jameis is likely cemented in as the #1 overall pick at this point unless he does something dumb off the field before the draft.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Being that we can't make any trades,   I definitely view the situation the way you do.

The Titans are open to any and all trade offers. You have until 3:45.

If I did have the chance to trade I definitely would have.

Dropped down and take a pass rusher or Cooper was my favorite option.

So far nothing shocking with Fowler going to the Jags after Williams. Should get really interesting here fast.

The Washington Redskins will entertain trade offers until 1:15 Pacific...

i think the jaguars are going to be able to work out a trade down in the actual draft but in this situation thats how i would have predicted it panning out.

With trades I would have tried to trade down to pick # 5 if the Redskins were looking to trade up.   Beyond that spot,  I would have been concerned about not getting enough impact at a need position when the opportunity to get impact at a need position was their at pick # 3 with Dante Fowler Jr.

Heres the deal with trades- In the past I have disallowed them and that seemed to be a major complaint. I figured lets do them if you can, but you do it in the discussion thread, and you have 20 minutes max to work out the details.

Step One: Announce in this thread that you are open for trades

Step Two: PM each other working out the details

Step Three: PM me and/or D6 for trade approval.

Step Four: Once the deal is approved, let the other team know they are on the clock (and to make their pick quickly)

Step Five: I will adjust the draft order with trade specifics.

Step Four: New team announces their pick in the "Pick" thread, along with the details of the trade.

Welp...?

We can 86 this idea if that's what the general consensus wants to do. I didn't bother to review Kotite's rules before I whipped this thing together.

Let me know.

Dude...someone else spent 2 months organizing this thing only to disappear when it came time to do it. D6 suggested I take the reigns. I did my best to organize something on the fly, so save me the snide remarks and just voice your opinion if its something we shouldn't do.

I would say go with no trades, it would move much faster, just my opinion. Everyone will be waiting for trade offers when its their pick
