And that's what they're doing, they're telling the mass population what they think is good, while the general mass population probably doesn't care about some foreign film that revolves around a weird bulimic chick who's protesting Parliament..  

 

As mass population goes, they want it dumbed down to their level. They want scary, sex, vulgar comedy and Disney.. It's what sells in the box offices. 

 

Although Slumdog was good.. One of the few they got right, I think.. 

 

I can get what you are saying. I feel that way about beer. I don't get the appeal of the craft beers. They are more expensive and they don't taste that good to me. But they are considered "better beers". But the best selling beers are the American light beer brands.

That's because people's taste buds aren't evolved. Just like when you drank beer for the first time it tastes like crap. They are better beers because they are better beers (well not all them). They have more complexity going on. Also, the best selling beers are that way because they are cheap.

I read this leaked article about the script years ago, I hoped it would never happen but it doesn't look half as bad as I was expecting when I first read about bio-engine red Dino's being fought with the hero's trained raptors. At least it looks like they dropped the talking Dino's and gun mounted raptors....... :confused:

I read this leaked article about the script years ago, I hoped it would never happen but it doesn't look half as bad as I was expecting when I first read about bio-engine red Dino's being fought with the hero's trained raptors. At least it looks like they dropped the talking Dino's and gun mounted raptors....... :confused:

Yup that was in the original Jurassic Park IV script the hero had trained raptors to "talk" with each other and he learned their language, had some kind of whistle that communicated commands? And then I read for the final fight scene he was going to mount machine guns on raptors that he could speak with and train to fight the big bad bio-engineered Dino. Turok was back on the PS2 or maybe the PS3 but at the time there was a semi-popular game that it felt like they where trying to mimic.
