Tebow to sign with the Eagles

#61

My phone jingled and I looked at it... I told my wife "Tebows back" Her reply was "Oh dear lord..."

I wonder if he will make the team even?

Yall are missing the big picture here. Chip believes the national press. We wanted Murray, They all say we want Timmy. The mad genious thinks if he rolls them together in a package he can trade up to #3. LOL

Chip: Hi Dave this is Chip

Dave: umm no!

Who is their starting analyst now?

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Quote:When you have an often-injured Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow listed as your QBs on your team, you don't have a starting QB.

I wonder if there is any chance Chip would listen to an offer for Chad Henne?? Any offer??

Sadly I would take all of those QBs over Chad Henne (maybe not Barkley never seen him play).

I am not really a fan of Mark Sanchez especially when he gets pressure, but he would probably still out play Henne in Jacksonville.

I saw an interview that suggested Tim Tebow is now open to other positions besides QB, while I am sure he will compete for the role (maybe 3rd on the depth chart or 2nd to Sam Bradford) he will most likely be used as a tailback.

Haters going to hate but I really never understood why they didnt at least work Tebow in Jacksonville, if nothing else but to sit on the bench as a backup QB - I mean who would you really rather have in if Bortles gets injured the lame duck Henne (we know what we'll see with him) or at least an exciting game with Tebow?

This is interesting, but, if you include Gabbert's numbers through his first 15 games, he is only the worst in 3 of the categories listed, and one of them is rushing TDs.  He is 2nd best in 4 categories.  He was also on a really bad team, as were Peyton and Elway (I don't recall if Eli was on a bad team.)

Not picking  fight, just found it interesting.

I'm more interested how Bortles stacks up....

Through 15 starts: (He has 14 games played)

Passing TD's 11 - 5th on that list

Rushing TD's 0 - Tied for 3rd (on that list)

Attempts 475 - 2nd

Completions 280 - 2nd

Comp % 58.9 - 1st

INT's 17 - 3rd

Yards <span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:verdana, arial, sans-serif;text-align:right;">2,908 - 2nd</span>

Avg Per ATMP <span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:verdana, arial, sans-serif;text-align:right;">6.12 - 5th </span>

Rating <span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:verdana, arial, sans-serif;text-align:right;">69.5 - 3rd</span>

Tebow can get the ball in the endzone, there is no doubt about that. 2nd all time on most TDs after first 16 games

I'm not a hater, but I am a non-understander on all things Tebow (as far as the NFL goes) and nobody has really been able to explain (NFL)Tebowmania to me to the point that it makes any sense to me.

I understand all the Tebow love from all the UF fans because of what he did as QB of the Gators, but I just don't understand the cult-like following he has, especially from the media, at the NFL level.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
