Ike Taylor: 2007 losses to the Jaguars the toughest games of his career

2007 loss to the Jags was worse than losing to Tebow in the playoffs???

Yikes.

Quote:Bet Oakland wins a sizable # of games this year. JDR is a grinder, a hard working trooper. He was under-appreciated in Jacksonville and will make Raiders respectable again. Cite any factors you may, bottom line, he fielded NFL teams at least; we haven't had one since he left. Hopefully, we can finally assemble one in Gus-man's 3rd year, with pieces fairly set in place.

JDR is like Jeff Fisher, he'll get his team in the 7 to 9 win range every year, usually flirting late with a wildcard, rarely getting it, but never really getting better from year to uear

I was at the regular season 07 game. It was awesome, there was a point early on where it was 3 degrees out and the snow rolled in off the mountains around Pit and you couldn't see the field or players bc of the whiteout and we just kept shoving MJD/FT down their throat. We had gone like 20-30 yards by the time I could see the field again

Tebow is a future HoFer, so not really a surprise.

Quote:That doesn't mean draft a new guy entirely when JJ Watt is still on the board

They moved up to draft Gabbert. Houston would have picked before us.

The 2007 Jaguars reminded me of the throwback type of teams that played outdoors in the Midwest or Northeast.    They certainly were built for the elements.
