2015 Mock Drafts
|
Williams and Harold would probably be the best case scenario. With some polish I think Harold is going to be a great player.
Is Shane Ray really likely to drop out the first? I just can't see it. With so much focus being on us drafting defensive players, we should just draft Cooper and trade up for Gurley lol. Set Blake up for 5 years + The defence is good enough to keep us in games. Scoring points is where we've been massively struggling We show less advertisements to registered users. More and more it looks to me that the Titans will get a nice trade package to rebuild their roster by trading out of Pick 2. This will leave Leonard Williams on the draft board and he appears to be a prospect much like Luke Joeckle that will be just too good to pass up. Thus my latest mock draft is as follows:
Rd 1(3): Leonard Williams - DT - USC Rd 2(36): Jay Ajayi - RB - Boise State Rd 3(67): Cody Prewitt - FS - Mississippi Rd 4(103): Rashad Greene - Slot WR - FSU Rd 5(138): TRADE to Eagles for Vinny Curry to play DE-Leo for Jags Rd 6(179): Jarvis Harrison - OLG - Texas A&M Rd 7(220): Kyle Emanuel - Otto LB/FB - North Dakota State Regarding Vinny Curry - DE - Eagles - 6'3" 279 lbs - 9 sacks with limited playing time. Rumored to be available for a mid to late round pick. Does not fit the Eagles 3-4 Defense. Is a Pass Rush specialist and only 26 years old.

NFL.com has a 7 round mock up. Jaguars picks:
1. Leonard Williams, DL, USC 2. Cameron Erving, C, Florida State 3. T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama 4. Frank Clark, DE, Michigan 5. Arie Kouandjio, G, Alabama 6. Charles Gaines, CB, Louisville 7. Nick Marshall, CB, Auburn I can't imagine the team doesn't select a WR the entire draft that Caldwell says is one of the best WR drafts in years, even better than last year.

Quote: That's pretty bad imo. A C so early when we already have 2? 2 corners? No FS or WR? Quote:That's pretty bad imo. A C so early when we already have 2? 2 corners? No FS or WR? The other concern is Frank Clark's character issues.
WalterFootball (yeah he sucks but he's one of the only people to do multiple round mocks) has a 6 rounder up and he has the Jags taking:
Dante Fowler, DE/OLB, Florida Byron Jones, CB, Connecticut Jaquiski Tartt, S, Samford Cameron Artis-Payne, RB, Auburn Martrell Spaight, OLB, Arkansas Shaquille Mason, G, Georgia Tech I'm really surprised none of them are mocking at least 1 wideout. At least he has only 1 lineman and that's in the 6th round.

Rd. 1 Leonard Williams
2 Nelson Agholor 3 P.J. Williams (free safety) 4 David Johnson 5 Jarvis Harrison 6 Davis Tull 7 Xavier Williams No LEO, but these are all BAP at their spots. Hopefully Branch or Chris Smith will effectively relieve Clemons and Williams/Odrick get consistent pressure on q.b.

Probably my final mock. In this one, Philly makes that 3-team trade rumored right now. (Trade Bradford to Browns for #19. Then trade #19 and #20, along with DT Fletcher Cox and ILB Michael Kendricks to the Titans for the #2 to select Mariota. I think it benefits both teams.) The Jags go for a play-maker on offense, which they sorely need, instead of more pass rush.
Through the Jags' 4th round pick:

Quote:Did Shane Ray die right before the draft?Haha. Whoops. I guess I kept pushing him down in the 1st round and then forgot about him. I will try to fix it. And I had Erik Flowers twice. That was the problem. OK, fixed. Despite their need for an OT, Carolina goes for BAP and takes Shane Ray to replace Greg Hardy on their D-line. We show less advertisements to registered users.
