Seriously, Henne and Gabbert are basically the same guy. Hopefully the offensive line won't have to duck for Gabbert's passes.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

In all fairness Shorts should have caught the TD, give Henne enough shots he's bound to start throwing to linemen.
About time. So now we know Henne is done. Now it's Gabbert's turn. Then it'll be Stanzitime.

Of course, he's the Colt Killer.
,,,I'm sure you know how hard that is to say with a straight face.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

We're guaranteed the #1 pick in the draft now. I'd rather see what Stanzi can do. Look what Brian Hoyer ( 3rd string QB for the Browns) did against the Vikings.
It's bad when the Browns 3rd stringer is better than your 1st. Rd franchise QB. We doing it BIG....Florida State bringing that SWAG back in 2013!!!!

I just remembered, I have some paint I need to watch dry on Sunday.
Darn.
Its the QB stupid!
I had a friend texting me about this upset that they are replacing Henne with Gabbert... I told him he needs to find better things to be upset about then arguing over who is better. Does anyone really care anymore? The QB of our future is playing college football right now.
Scary to think that we are starting a qb that probably wouldn't make another nfl roster. Tanking for Teddy in full effect.
Crab Cakes and Football! That's what Jacksonville does!

Quote:In all fairness Shorts should have caught the TD, give Henne enough shots he's bound to start throwing to linemen. After the interception, I thought, "He is going to kick himself for that forever." Especially after Seattle scored off the turnover. But who should we blame for the interception, Henne or the receiver?
I'm glad to hear that BG is healthy enoigh to play Sunday. The one thing that is for sure is Henne wasn't better. The OL definately has contributed to the RB and QB's dismal play. We have to see if Gabbert can successfully progress in accordance to the staff's liking. As a team... We have a Looooooong Ways to go...
NH3...

At this point, I'd rather see Gabbert over Henne.
The QB competition is not as good as the old Montana vs Young battle, but it serves the purpose to hold on to hope resulting from change.

They'll like him so much that when this season is over, They'll draft his replacement to start next season. The Gabbert error ended in the preseason.
