Bad pick from Indy imo. Not because he isn't a good player, but their defence is incredibly poor compared to the other division winning teams they're ultimately aiming to compete with.
The Patriots destroyed them in the playoffs. They should have gone defence Quote:Mine too bro can you imagine the speed indy has nowSpeed, depth, and versatility. Speed: T.Y. Hilton and Dorsett. Size/physicality: Andre Johnson and Donte Moncrief. TEs: Fleener and Allen. Ugh. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
At least their defense still has a ton of holes.. but jeez.. not looking forward to covering all those guys.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:Speed, depth, and versatility. That is one hell of a group. But their o-line and defense are still a problem for them.

One of the worst picks of the first round, the Colts have issues on the offensive line and on defense and chose to go with a role player/situational deep threat in Philip Dorsett, with a similar player in TY Hilton that's already on the roster. It's an awful pick considering guys like Malcom Brown/TJ Clemmings/Eric Fisher were on the board, the Colts seem to be more concerned about building a fantasy football team than a team that wins in the trenches, Ryan Grigson is one of the worst GM's in all of sports, if you remove Andrew Luck from that team they might win 4 games. Of course, this is the same organization that "thinks" they're a handful of washed up vets (Andre Johnson, Frank Gore, Trent Cole) from competing for a Super Bowl, delusional.

I didn't like the pick either. I'm not as sold on Phillip Dorsett as most NFL/ Draft followers. But like you said, their draft strategy is a direction opens the door to many questions. At the very least, I would have traded down if a viable offer presented itself. Eddie Goldman looked like someone who would have been a real good fit for them at # 29. Millions of defensive needs and they pick a receiver.
Vintage Indianapolis. There's no Peyton this time around to compensate for the defense.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Quote:Millions of defensive needs and they pick a receiver. Andrew Luck has done a decent job of that so far for a young QB. I still think Grigson is a bad GM, glad he's with the Colts. Had they not fell into Luck, that team would likely be really bad. Not impressed with Indy's draft at all... As usual
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Quote:Not impressed with Indy's draft at all... As usual Both Indy and Tennessee didn't impress me thus far. I expect Tennessee to be looking for a new head coach next year after they bomb this year.
Quote:Both Indy and Tennessee didn't impress me thus far. I fully expect Mariota to bust in Tennessee, not a right fit for him. My buddy (Bucs fan) asked me "oh man, how do you feel about facing Mariota twice? You know he's the fastest QB since Vick?" I just laughed and said "not at all, doesn't worry me a bit" His face to that response was priceless.
