He's like the 10th best back.

People love the pick it seems:

Completely disagree.

To be quite honest WalterFootball absolutely hates the Jags. If he's liking the pick then something must be up.

Give me Tyler Lockett and I'll forgive this pick.

Not sure if you're being serious or not, but I hope you weren't implying walterfootball knows what he's talking about

Quote:I think we reached on Yeldon - even though he would fit our system of running backs.

He is more of a powerful back with decent speed as opposed to the shifty Denard Robinson...

I did not like the pick @ #36...
He had the best elusive rating in the draft

The reason I could see yeldon being a good pick is because of his versatility.

He can catch, he has decent speed, he has good power for his size.

Pass protection is an issue, but if he fixes that, he's a do it all back. (And he does quite a bit very well.)

Personally I think it might have been a little high to get him, but obviously the guys inside the NFL know more than we do and Dave hasn't really let us down yet.

But we will learn a lot this year.

If healthy, he's an exciting player.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I must admit I do like that he can catch out the backfield quite well, gives Bortles another option

Wonder what his 10 yard split was seems to have good burst

Like Fowler.

Don't like this one.

I thought there were better RBs.  Hope they know better than me.

Because they were.
