Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
4th round targets for me would be...
Slot WR - Rashad Greene, Jamison Crowder (returner also) and Antwan Goodley FS - Derron Smith, Cody Prewitt DT - Grady Jarrett (just a value pick, saw him as high as #33 overall) LB - Kwon Alexander (LB depth is needed) QB - Bryce Petty (another value pick, groom behind Henne to take over as #2 next season)
Quote:In orderNot sure why so many people are high on Smelter. He is hurt, and we need a slot WR, not a big guy.
La'el Collins - Round 4
Jamison Crowder - Round 5 Max Valles - Round 6 Max Garcia / Nick Marshall - Round 7 We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:In orderIfo would be a good pick, but the Jags are pretty set at DB and have other needs for that high of a pick. House Colvin and McCray have the CB spots locked up, Gratz is a serviceable backup...
I'd like to see Ifo, Hardy/Greene and maybe Petty/Hundley as a developmental QB.

I forgot about Josh Shaw. If he checked out in the interviews I think he's a good potential FS convert.

Quote:It is after midnight. Who you want to target? My bed, my pillow and my AC.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:QB - Bryce Petty (another value pick, groom behind Henne to take over as #2 next season) QB is interesting. I remember listening to Jaguars Thursday and they seemed elated with Henne as a backup. But why? Can you really rely on Henne? Should they go with a developmental guy? I heard Petty is inaccurate as a passer, but didn't they like Hundely last year? Or does he still suck? Don't know much about these guys, but QB should be a consideration at least. At this point you wonder where need and value meets. So I'm thinking FS, WR, QB, LB. But I can also see depth picks at DT or LEO. In fact, I don't think Dave has drafted a single DT the entire time he's been in Jacksonville. So I'd be surprised if he doesn't pick a DT tomorrow today. Or maybe I wouldn't . Not sure. OK I'm done here.
Lots of guys that would be great picks. Jarrett, Bennett, and Trey Flowers are the best pure values easily for me, but Ifo, Smelter, McBride, Shaw, and a few other guys would also be pretty sweet. I think we will be happy with the start of the day tomorrow.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (as a safety) and T.J. Clemmings would be the two at the top of my fourth-round wishlist.
A 100% Clemmings surely would have been gone a while ago...that foot fracture must have scared teams away a lot more than expected. At the time it was just supposed to be like Strong's very minor hand injury.
