I would be very surprised if the Jags do not go WR and free safety in the next 2 rounds. As always, some good players will be on the board in the 4th and 5th. I would really like Greene at receiver, although he's not a great return man and this may preclude them selecting him. Just think he will play a long time in the league. Other god choices would be McBride, Diggs, Goodley, Hardy and Crowder.

As far as safety, Derron Smith is my first choice. Actually, I'd like him in the 4th round. Prewitt, Holliman, Harris and Drummond are also possibilities.

I'm not as high on Clemmings as others. There's got to be a reason he has dropped that far and Jags have already upgraded their line enough.

He has a fractured foot, kinda scary for a big man.

Quote:Not sure why so many people are high on Smelter.  He is hurt, and we need a slot WR, not a big guy.

We have the bodies right now at WR. We can let Smelter heal, similar to what we did with Colvin. As far as why him?

Because he actually, when healthy, has a legit chance at being a #1 receiver. He's big, physical, runs well, and can high point the ball. Extremely competitive. He fits the culture of this team. If we take him, PUP him, and then he develops (Hello Jerry Sullivan), we can slide Lee inside and take advantage of his quickness and YAC ability.

Robinson/Smelter/Lee/Hurns will be our 4 WR next year.

Quote:Lots of guys that would be great picks. Jarrett, Bennett, and Trey Flowers are the best pure values easily for me, but Ifo, Smelter, McBride, Shaw, and a few other guys would also be pretty sweet. I think we will be happy with the start of the day tomorrow.

Forgot about Flowers. He'd be interesting for this team as another end prospect. Can't have too many rushers.

I forgot that they caught this late in the process. Now it makes sense why he's dropped.

Grady Jarrett is an absolute steal here. Would love to add him to the rotation

I love rounds 4-7.. This is where you separate the men from the boys. Anyone could get a hit on players in rounds 1-3.. Rounds 4-7 though, you really have to do your homework...

Go gettem Dave!!

Jags secondary could use some more juice. I don't think it's as good as everyone thinks

What don't you like about Amos?

Diggs and Amos with our next two picks would be Epic!

I like Mayle at Slot WR or maybe Ladarius Gunter at FS

Quote:4th round targets for me would be...

Slot WR - Rashad Greene, Jamison Crowder (returner also) and Antwan Goodley

FS - Derron Smith, Cody Prewitt

DT - Grady Jarrett (just a value pick, saw him as high as #33 overall)

LB - Kwon Alexander (LB depth is needed)

QB - Bryce Petty (another value pick, groom behind Henne to take over as #2 next season)
I think you nailed it. I would maybe add SS Sample as Cyprian needs some competition to push him.
