Smith is NFL.com's third best available behind La'el Collins and Michael Bennett.

Quote:How would he replace Lewis? With his hands.. Easily.. O'Leary can block pretty well too.. For some reason, O'Leary has always reminded me of the TE that used to run around and catch everything for Manning and the Colts....no idea why I can't remember his name. Remember Kids Punters and Long Snappers are starters

We're all a little bit sick sitting here on a Saturday afternoon watching punters, long snappers and fullbacks getting drafted.

Here's an interesting article on Bennett about teams that should draft him...
<p style="margin-left:40px;">http://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state...el-bennett One team they mention is the Seahawks wherein of course the Jaguars share the same scheme. They note the obvious how there is already a Michael Bennett on their team, but that only adds to the mystique and potential confusion for an offense should they take him. I'm also noting that they're projecting him going in rounds two or three. Absolutely nobody thought he'd fall out of round three, and he might actually be there for the Jaguars in round six. Apparently Michael had some sort of injury in the workouts just before the draft??? This is probably why he's falling, but still why so far? I mean, how bad can the injury possibly be? I'd like to find out more about what happened exactly.

Whew...
I almost thought Michael was gone to the Lions with their round five comp pick, but it was FB Michael Burton who they picked.

Pretty sure we signed Thomas to replace Lewis' hands. O'Leary is more of an H-Back style TE in the mold of Cooley. He's a mediocre blocker at best.
