***Official Day 3 Draft Talk***

Yeldon is fast enough. As a 4.5 or 4.6 guy he's just as fast as your typical S or OLB. The only guys actually catching him from behind are CBs, but they'd often slide right off him as slippery as TJ can be.

I really like the 7th rounders, we needed to address TE prior to UDFA.  Keep 5? wow, both rookies have a chance.

Figure LB will be a big piece of UDFA

Quote:Five tight ends plus five running backs and (presumably) six receivers is a lot of offensive skill players. I think four tight ends is likely with one of Jensen, Sterling and Koyack on the practice squad.

I'd guess Sterling is a good PS candidate.

The last two picks are pretty irrelevant and are only here for competition IMHO. The quality of the first five picks alone are enough to carry any team into the playoffs. Coming from a guy who is very outspoken about this organization, this was an A+ draft.

Yes it could. I would have much rather ended up with Tevin Coleman and Tyler Lockett instead of Yeldon and Greene.

We' ll see.... that's the same thing you all said when I questioned any pick Gene Smith made.

Coleman in the 2nd and Lockett in the 3rd.

Would have missed out on Cann, who I like, but could have lived without him to get the playmaking and scoring ability we sorely need.

I'd prefer Cann and his position over Lockette and his position....

I think both will be very solid players but give me an OG over the slot.
