New challenges for week 10
|
I made several moves this week. For starters, with my QB and TE having had their bye last week, I opted to not keep a second player at either position in order to give me options at RB, WR and Defense. Both will start every week from here on out as long as they stay healthy, and I'm confident there will be wire options should either go down.
Defensively I feel I need to stash the Panthers this week since I love them but they play the 49ers. So I picked up the Texans Defense against the Cards with the Cards OL banged up vs JJ Watt and company. The Cards do have Fitz, but the Texans still boast one of the league's top pass defenses. That said, I could still pick up the Dolphins vs the Bucs instead of the Texans. This leads to my biggest question which is who to start at RB and WR. I need to fill in the blanks... QB Peyton Manning RB Frank Gore RB Rashad Jennings (McFadden is out, so he's starting at the Giants) WR Eric Decker WR Keenan Allen WR _________ WR/RB flex ___________ K Adam Vinatieri (I just waived Sturgis to get him) DEF Texans vs Cards On my list to choose from are... RB Trent Richardson vs Rams RB James Starks vs Eagles RB Shonn Greene vs Jaguars WR Kendall Wright vs Jaguars WR Mike Brown vs Titans So I need to pick one WR, and then one play among the other four.

I'm starting Richardson one more time. I like this matchup and have a feeling he plays well.
So, I'd go Trent and Greene in the hopes of him getting a goaline carry.
Put Greene in, no reason not to. The Jaguars are inept at run stopping and Titans goal will be to run the ball all day.
