NFL.com already has an LA Rams page

maybe they created that one to make the rams and raiders seem like less of a real thing or big deal

Thanks!

I'm wondering when the Los Angeles Rams and Raiders pages were created and when the Boston Patriots page was created.   If the latter was done recently,   there's reason to be suspicious.

If you use this link it will take you back to the LA Rams site:

While I'm not counting on this happening,  my hope is that no existing market loses their team and that the NFL expands to Los Angeles and London.

Quote:NFL.Com at least at this moment also has a page for the Los Angeles Raiders:

The league is keeping options open for the time being I guess.  As long as we don't see a Los Angeles Jaguars page, that's fine.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It sure seems like the NFL wants a combination of 1 or 2 teams in Los Angeles and one or more new stadiums being built in existing markets.   Thankfully,  Jacksonville's situation is stable.  It's a nightmare situation for St. Louis Rams,  Oakland Raiders,  and San Diego Chargers fans.

Well now they know what we've gone through the last few years.

Looks like the NFL has explained the "error".

If the recently released NFL schedule and 2015 NFL Draft are indications,  the entire season is going to be geared to throwbacks with Super Bowl 50 capping it off.

While the Rams, Raiders,  and Chargers have had stadium uncertainty for a number of years,  I agree that it wasn't on the level of what Jaguars fans went through for several years.   In the last couple of years,  it seems the Rams and Raiders got to that undesirable level that Jaguars fans dealt with in the past.  In the last few months,  Chargers fans are now experiencing it.   Attendance for all 3 teams in 2015 could reflect a very uncertain future.

It's so obvious as they are the only team in the central time zone in a west coast division

Quote:That kind of gaffe is completely inexcusable. Imagine being a Rams fan? All 6 of them are probably really ticked right now.

They probably just wrote it off to a Meth-induced hallucination.

Oddly enough, the two LA pages have been fixed to redirect to the home page, but yet they left the phoenix cardinals one up and the Boston patriots up.

It looks to me like the NFL is cooking us all a nice big batch of steamed red herring.

The irony being that had Shad Khan been able to buy the Rams, it may have all turned out differently.

Worked out for us.

Yeah, that certainly appears to be the case today.  Nobody was certain where we were headed a few years ago when he bought the team.  Things have really changed.

Wait... so there's a glitch that automatically assigns a team (that used to play) for a city when you type that city into the URL?

Why were they typing LA into a URL? Why is there a program that assigns a team to a city? That seems like a lot of work to make a feature for something with no real purpose since teams don't randomly move around.

Especially when you consider that none of these teams have been in these locations since the internet reached the ability to outright "guess" your intentions when manipulating a URL.

I think we all know there is more to this, but we all rest assured that the Jaguar name will not be attached.
