Obviosuly no one knows 100% right now, but lets face it, the thing is torn.He went down while a right tackle put hands on him. Non-contact drills doesn't mean there's zero contact. Just that they're not tackling. I'm happy you saw the video, and that in your expert opinion based on a camera phone video from 50 yards away, you could fully diagnose the injury. Why are the Jags even bothering with sending him to an orthopedic doctor since you've already settled it? Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Yeah I'm done [BLEEP] this
Quote:And you also don't know what you're talking about. Not trying to be mean or anything, but every random joe 6-pack doesn't have education or experience to diagnose an injury from watching a video. No one in this world knows exactly what happened until they're able to do test. That doesn't mean you can't have a logical and educated opinion on the injury. I had an ACL tear playing in high-school, and I've seen it happen multiple times. Glad you had to share your insight and tell me you treated them, but you still have no idea what's going on and know just as much as me...lol Quote:If they wait too long, yeah the swelling could interfere, but they seem to be on it quick enough though.Torn ACLs don't require much more than a few minutes to start swelling, at which point an MRI is useless. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If he's not improved, it doesn't matter who is out there playing DE. And a good defense makes it easier. There's a reason teams like the Texans can take a trip to the playoffs with game managing QB's For a second year QB, any help is good help.
How dare you bibbers be upset when one of our players, especially our first draft pick, gets injured! I won't speculate one way or another because there is no place for speculation or conversation on a message board! I am so much smarter and better than all of you.
Make the Jags Great Again
Blake Bortles......YOU'RE FIRED! Dave Caldwell.....YOU'RE FIRED! Quote:And you also don't know what you're talking about. Not trying to be mean or anything, but every random joe 6-pack doesn't have education or experience to diagnose an injury from watching a video. There are also guys who strain their MCL and show the same kind of instant pain. The point is that nobody knows, and all of the declarations that it's an ACL based on nothing but 10 seconds of video is premature. One of my best friends is a PT who has been doing this for years, and even with her expertise, when she sees a video like this, she's not able to make any sort of determination about the type or severity of the injury. Nobody can. They can make some quick determinations on the field based on the stability of the knee as to whether it's an ACL or not and be pretty accurate in their assessment, but no fan sitting in a bleacher or watching it on a video would be able to know what they're seeing. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

There's a reason teams like the Texans can take a trip to the playoffs with game managing QB's For a second year QB, any help is good help.A good defense helps, but the QB is the most critical component in the ascent of this team, not the LEO we just drafted. There are other upgrades on the defense that will assure that we are better than we were last year. Even if it's an ACL, it's not a devastating loss. If Bortles suffered a similar injury? The season is over. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

He wouldn't be able to "roll and bend" the knee if it was an ACL? That's just absolute twaddle, absulute rubbish... Not logical and not educated.

The bottom line here is that nobody knows anything, and there are a whole lot of assumptions flying around. Let's give the doctors a chance to evaluate and determine the severity, then we can start selling admission to watch people leap off the Wells Fargo tower. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I was waiting to use this when we failed the draft. Guess now's a good time.
