What's all the noise at PFT about 11 on 11 not being allowed at rookie camp like they're doing something we shouldn't?
Because Jaguars is our mantra

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I saw it, and immediately said ACL. I surely am hoping i'm wrong, but when he planted hard it buckled and he grabbed it immediately. That is never a good sign. Quote:Didn't Von Miller have an ACL tear???At least we can rule out the need for Tommy-John surgery. Takes forever to get back to form after one of those!
Quote:I know this is a struggle for you, but are you reading the sheer panic coming from some here without knowing anything about the severity of the injury? If we are the Patriots, this is "simply a setback". If we are the Colts, this is "simply a setback". If we are the Packers, this is "simply a setback". We are the Jaguars. Still the laughing stock of the NFL. We have terrible luck. This could potentially add to that, so I for one, along with many others, obviously feel this is a concern. A serious injury would epitomize the crappiness that is being a Jaguar fan the last 3 years. Feel free to be "too cool for school" and heckle anybody who cringes and shakes their head thinking about the luck we've had, and the potential impact this will have on our team and morale.
Check that video again and look where he's grabbing his leg after he rolls. I just read somewhere else that it's possibly a calf injury.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:And I'm telling you that you don't know enough to make ANY assumptions whatsoever, which is what you did in the post I replied to. He wouldn't be able to "roll and bend" the knee if it was an ACL? That's just absolute twaddle, absulute rubbish. It's very hard to use your leg after an ACL tear, sorry, but that's the truth. Having a full motion, bending, and rolling on it is nearly impossible. You're right though, I can't have any opinions or assumptions on our first round draft pick, and I shouldn't comment at all. I'm inferior and too stupid to have my own guess, everyone should bow down to SuperJville, the special one-of-a-kind, keyboard warrior... And is probably one of those phony British fans that joined the Jags band-wagon in 2013. Quote:If we are the Patriots, this is "simply a setback". If we are the Colts, this is "simply a setback". If we are the Packers, this is "simply a setback".So, the success or failure of this team in 2015 is on Fowler, and nothing else? I think I'll stick with the "too cool for school" crowd since clearly I see it very differently from you. Meanwhile, you are now a charter member of the "Chicken Little" crowd. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:Whose with me?Right behind ya. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
A healthy branch, smith, and clemons can do an adequate job. Davis rushing from the inside can be very effective. I'm not overly worried about our defense, but I am worried about fiwler. At some point, we need to get lucky and we also need to have significant positive contributions from our 1st round picks.

Quote:Looks like he's grabbing his left knee to me. Same here.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Quote:Looks like he's grabbing his left knee to me.When he completes that roll, his hands are on his calf. I'm not expecting it to be a calf injury, but we simply don't know one way or the other about what kind of injury it is, or the severity. That's my point. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but every random joe 6-pack doesn't have education or experience to diagnose an injury from watching a video. Another RB who ended up tearing his ACL, who seemed to have a similar experience as Todd Gurley, also had a state of Georgia connection. Back in week # 2 in 1999 on MNF, then Falcons RB Jamal Anderson walked off the field after a play in a manner that looked routine to me when watching the game on TV. I was shocked that Jamal Anderson ended up with a torn ACL. The possibility at the time never occurred to me. Quote:I'm too cool for mini camp. Im over that nonsense so is fowler
