Fowler Hurt at Rookie Camp - Torn ACL
|
Quote:Numb to 1st round disappointment by now. This just goes against the law of averages. Could probably get better results picking names from a hat.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023. He wasn't good anyway. Won't cry over something you never had in the 1st place.
Quote:Hi! Remember me? I'm the guy you said 'must have the patience of a saint' regarding the Jags. I responded with, "maybe, or I've just learned over the years not to hold my breath about this team". Well.... see what I mean now? Here take this brick we're pre rioting it's therapeutic

Quote:Just spoke to my buddy who works on the grounds crew. He said they really haven't had time to take care of the practice fields lately and feels it may have contributed to the injury... Nothing to be proud of Russ. Have they been getting high under the bleachers during business hours? This franchise is snake bitten enough to where we don't need idiot grounds crews not doing their jobs.
It's moments like these I wish TD wasn't banned. The meltdown would be simply epic.
This is a real kick to the groin as a Jags fan btw, obviously. I'm not surprised, nor should anyone else be at this point. The team is cursed I guess.

There is no sugar coating this. This flat out is one of the worst things i think I've witnessed as a Jaguar fan, and i have pretty much sat through all of it. At some point, all the evaluations, coaching, general managing have to take a seat to what i think the Jaguars have been missing since their beginning, luck. We have none of it, especially in the draft. I don't need to remind you of our first round draft pick deficiencies ( on and off the field wise), no matter what, even if he bounces back, this adds to it.
As Jags fans, we should be used to this kind of crushing heartache and disappointment, but it hurts the same every time.

<p style="text-align:center;">But that same man can get lost in the sauce."
Look at the bright side, we have two first round picks next year

This really sucks BUT if we have a good year this year without him we'll be going into 2016 on the back of a good year and with 2 1st rounders to look forward to...

Am I the only one who has watched the video enough to see that ot doesnt seem accidental?
If you guys really want to be upset watch it again 50 times and you'll be furious. The play starts, Fowler has a great jump off the line, he acts as if he's going to take the outside, plants his left leg to cut back inside. That's where it all goes bad. Its supposed to be non-contact right? But as soon as Fowler plants that leg #77 gave Fowler just enough of a shove for that to happen. To me it was clear as day and I'm honestly surprised to be the first to mention it. This injury was no accident, could have been all avoided... Quote:Everyone at work today said the Jags are cursed... I'm starting to believe it. There's still some curse left in that hex Dan Marino put on us. |
