So where are the 2016 mock drafts?
|
LaQuon Treadwell will be our #1 WR for the next ten years if we grab hIm. Not a burner but this is one amazing WR prospect.

Quote:CBS mocked us Ronnie Stanley from Notre Dame for 2016 if Joeckel doesn't work out this year. There are some really strong OT prospects coming out next year. As of now, it looks like Stanley and Tunsil are locks to be top 10. Then you got Conklin from MSU that could go top 10 also. It's a good draft to follow Joeckel's make it or break it year. Quote:Here you go: If we're picking at #2 next year my fandom might be on life support.
Jalen Ramsey, Hargreaves, or any stud OT or LB seem likely. If we're picking at 10 (which I think we'll be around 10-12) Hargreaves will be long gone and maybe even Ramsey. Ramsey is probably gonna be the first stud FS prospect in years. I'll predict he might even go before 10 because of that reason.
Aside from him though, I think the Jags brass will focus on the defense in next years draft. The only other round 1 scenarios I see happening would be OT or WR.
BORTLES ISN'T A FRANCHISE QB. FOURNETTE WILL BE A BUST.
I don't think the receivers will be nearly as good next year as they have been the last two years. You got Treadwell and then a few fringe players. I'm sure 2 or 3 will sneak into the 1st round that shouldnt just because of the importance of the position.

Quote:I still do not understand the overhyping of Christian Hackenberg. That Freshman season of his. He flashed potential, but never followed through on it. It showed teams what they could might possibly maybe get if they gave the player NFL caliber coaching.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

There were some flashes. But last year, he just frankly was not very good. Maybe the best thing would be to go to Houston back with O'Brien and maybe the Texans are planning for that. I would be stunned if he ends up the first pick. Quote:There were some flashes. But last year, he just frankly was not very good. Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

McShay has him going #1 overall in his 2016 mock: <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/5/7/8569347/nfl-mock-draft-2016-christian-hackenberg-connor-cook-todd-mcshay'>http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/5/7/8569347/nfl-mock-draft-2016-christian-hackenberg-connor-cook-todd-mcshay</a> He has us picking at 6.

Quote:McShay has him going #1 overall in his 2016 mock: Very little chance that four QB's go in the top 10. But I like the idea. Put a bunch of QB's in the top 10. And next spring can say "I had him as a top ten pick in my first mock last year" when one of them goes in the first round.

Walter Football (i know) has us taking Treadwell at 8.
Quote:it is dumb to take receivers in the top 10. Jalen Ramsey all day. Not really if it's a need and the best player there. Yes a pass rusher or even shutdown DB is a more important position but you can't pull a Gene Smith and reach on someone and ignore grades. |
